Un jour, Zhang Chulan, un universitaire se fait attaquer par des zombies au beau milieu d’un cimetière. Durant cette attaque, il se fait sauver par Bao Bao, une jeune femme qui étudie dans la même université que lui. Plusieurs jours après, Zhang s’aperçoit que différentes personnes aux pouvoirs spéciaux apparaissent. Grâce à ces pouvoirs, ces personnes organisent différents combats. Au fur et à mesure, Zhang se fera embarquer dans des situations plus dangereuses les unes que les autres.
